Grab a free copy of Thief...it's a steal! Hahaha...I'll get me coat
Well...ish. I've got a spare OEM copy of Thief - Deadly Shadows on the PC banging around here somewhere, so I'm putting it up for grabs for you guys. For your chance to win, simply send an e-mail to diggler@tpsreport.co.uk with your name and address, and tell me the worst thing you've ever stolen (on or offline...). Closing date will be September 9th.

The third in the series of highly acclaimed stealth/adventure games - as mentioned in the previous article - is a title that was originally released way before its time. With a lovely free-roaming world, a dark, atmospheric medieval setting, and gripping gameplay that constantly fluctuates between relaxing, heart pounding and downright terrifying, Thief III's biggest flaw was that it took one kick arse PC to truly do justice. Understandable, as it looks so fucking good.

In the year since it was released though, systems have - as they always do - moved on in leaps and bounds. With a current level graphics card, Thief III can now be truly appreciated for the work of brilliance it's always been.

Arguably its greatest asset is its cutting edge use of sound though - this is the title worth upgrading your entire sound system for. With an Audigy 2 and a 5.1 speaker setup, Deadly Shadows springs to life like no other. I'll be honest, I've regularly looked over my shoulder while playing this game.

But rather than ramble on about it any more I'll simply let you play it yourself. Get those e-mails sent in.
