You may have noticed me gushing about Consolevania loads ever since the site launched. It's an internet based TV show centred on games, yet one that pretty much wipes the floor with every other gaming show seen on TV put together.
This month though, thanks to the BBC, the Consolevania boys have made that jump to TV themselves. Their new show is titled Videogaiden, it broadcasts on BBC Scotland, and it lasts all but 10 minutes, but better than nothing, no?
Due to the all-too-brief new running time, naturally some corners have had to be cut. As a result, comedy sketches are now blink-and-you-miss-em quick, and the all-important gaming reviews are super fast and turbo charged as to border on incomprehensible to anyone who doesn't speak, err, Scottish.
Never the less, Videogaiden still retains all that made Consolevania so great, and is now at the very top of the list on my weekly TV download-a-thon. In a stroke of generosity, the BBC are even posting the entire thing online for those geographically challenged. Do not miss it.
Do however, flood the BBC with a ton of e-mails requesting the boys get a nice half hour time-slot on prime time.
