Return of the King was an amazing end to one of the best movie trilogies of all time, but there are definite moments in the flick where the plot and characters suffer due to cuts - especially obvious to anyone who's read the book.
Much like the previous two movies though, ROTK is getting its own Extended Edition on DVD next month, and I'm expecting an awesome flick to become near perfect when it does.
The four disc set will include 50 minutes of new footage to the actual film, and many more hours of behind the scenes documentaries detailing how it was all made. The primary reason for this post however is to point you towards the new trailer so you can see all this for yourself...
