Consolevania Episode 7 Released
Posted by Diggler - 27/2/2005 2:15

RE4 full review coming soon(ish), but this should more than keep you going in the meantime
The new Consolevania has hit the internet at last, available right now via the official web site. This episode is 100% Resident Evil themed, including a look at some of the past games, a hilarious piss-take of Resi-rip-off OverBlood, and of course a review of the brand spanking new Resident Evil 4 on the GameCube.

After playing RE4 solidly for the past few days, this episode cracked me the fook up. The "sprint" sequence, the spay 'n' herbs, and especially the floating blue tokens, but others who've yet to experience the delights of the best GameCube game ever may find many jokes flying over their head.

Damn entertaining is that Resident Evil 4 review though, a game so impressive that the Consolevania boys seem to have done a complete 180 regarding their opinion of the GameCube itself. I believe the words "forget Half-Life 2" were even muttered.

By all accounts this is the best horror game ever made. Get downloading the ep by following the chunky orange text below...
